DAV-8, GMSSS-26 log win Chandigarh, December 28 Saint Soldier's won the toss and elected to bat first. They made 107 runs for the loss of four wickets in 20 overs. Gurdeep with 63 runs was the highest scorer for the team. DAV school achieved the target in 18.3 overs. Sagar scored 42 runs for DAV school. Anshul of Saint Soldier's claimed two wickets. DAV school emerged victorious by two wickets. The second match was played between the GMHS-40 and the GMSSS-26. The GMHS-40 won the toss and elected to bat first. But the team could not perform well and were bundled out at 73 runs. Abhishek with 18 runs was the highest scorer. Sushil and Jatinder claimed two wickets each for the GMSSS-26. Chasing the target of 73 runs, the players of the GMSSS-26 faltered at one point when they lost wickets in a quick succession but the team achieved the target in just 10.2 overs for the loss of six wickets.
