Results declared: The results of BSc (IT) Part-III, BCom (Prof) Part-I and III, BCom (R) Part I and III, BCA Part-III, BPE Part I and II, PGD in Business Management, PGD in Financial Services and PGD in Web Designing examinations conducted by Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, in September 2013 has been declared. Dr RK Mahajan, professor in charge, (exams), said these results would also be available on the university website - www.gndu.ac.in.

Eye camp: RIMT World School, Mani Majra, held an eye camp as part of the Diwali celebrations. Around 400 students, faculty members and support staff were checked for refractive errors and vision anomalies. Children were advised to protect their eyes during the festival of lights.

UKD (Aeri): The UKD (Aeri) today expanded its working committee by making 16 new appointments. Party patron BD Raturi said the party would launch an agitation on November 8 to demand Gairsain as the state capital.
