Allotment of land for Community Centre cancelled at BRS Nagar
Ludhiana, July 28
The Department of Local Government, Punjab, has cancelled the allotment of 3,556 square yards land for Community Centre in J Block of Bhai Randhir Singh Nagar for persistent failure of the residents society to make initial deposit of 25 per cent of the cost of land, and thereafter making payment in installments as per the schedule.

MC to carry out auction again today

For the third time in a row, the Ludhiana Municipal Corporation (MC) will be carrying out an auction of the Ferozepur Road parking lots tomorrow. Out of the total 13 parking lots, the MC has been able to auction only four, while the civic body has failed to auction the remaining nine as no person showed interest in the two consecutive auctions.
