Robbers strike at house in Panchkula

In yet another daring loot in Panchkula, two masked robbers looted gold jewellery by brandishing a knife after barging into a house at Sector 19 here today. This is the third such incident reported from the district in the past three days.

The enforcement staff of the land acquisition collector today demolished a liquor vend that was under construction on the acquired land in Raipur Kalan. An official said a complaint had been received about illegal construction going on the government land in village.
