GLADA auction a big draw

A public auction conducted by the Greater Ludhiana Area Development Authority
(GLADA) for the sale of residential plots in Dugri, Phase I, here today turned out to be a huge draw with 16 plots being sold for a little over Rs 13.75 crore against a reserve price of Rs 9,86,58,000, yielding a premium of around 40 per cent on the floor price.

Get water connections regularised, MC tells residents

Residents having illegal water supply and sewer connections can get these regularised under the voluntary disclosure scheme by paying a nominal fee. The Ludhiana Municipal Corporation has asked city residents to get their connections regularised by March 31. Failure to do so will invite action.

Swine flu claims youth's life
