Seminar on changing role of teachers in 21st century

Nawanshahr, March 8 
Educationists from different universities and colleges from Punjab and Chandigarh attended the UGC-sponsored seminar on the changing role of teachers in 21st century at Dayanand Amarnath College of Education for Women yesterday. The experts exhorted the teachers to evolve a mechanism which would be a blend of technology and gurukul tradition. Dr Puneet Bedi, principal, MCM DAV College Chandigarh, was the chief guest on the occasion. Prem Bhardwaj, general secretary, Arya Pratinidhi Sabha, Punjab, presided over the function marking the birth anniversary of Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati, founder of the Arya Samaj. Bhardwaj lauded the visionary’s contribution to the cause of women education in the country.
