Man killed in road mishap

Hoshiarpur, March 4
Rakesh Kumar (Panch), son of Parshotam Singh of Khanpur, was killed in a road accident last evening.
According to the police, Rakesh Kumar was seriously injured when a tractor-trailer (PB-32C-9350) hit the motorcycle (PB-32A (Temp)-0391) he was riding on near his village. He was rushed to a hospital at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, but he died on the way.
The Garhshankar police has booked tractor-trailer driver Balbir Singh of Bhamian under Sections 279, 304A and 427 of the IPC.
