Nawanshahr, February 18
Deputy Commissioner Tanu M Kashyap has accepted the request of an NGO, Human Empowerment League of Punjab (HELP), to show selected episodes of Aamir Khan’s programme ‘Satyamev Jayate’ in schools to make students aware about the sex-related crime against children.

Kashyap has asked sub-divisional magistrates (SDMs) of Nawanshahr, Balachaur, Banga and the District Education Officer to organise shows of the programme in schools.

HELP activist Parvinder Singh Kittna had made a CD of the Aamir Khan's show in which the actor had organised workshop on the topic. Kittna had given the disc to the DC urging her to show the programme to make students aware as well as to equip them with skills to combat sex-related crimes.
