Security beefed up in city

The city police has tightened security following two back-to-back incidents where bikers fled with cash. While in the first incident, two men conned a Mumbai-based diamond trader, Sanjiv Mehta, and fled with diamond and gold jewellery worth Rs 12 lakh, in the second incident, three men opened fire and fled with Rs 2 lakh from an egg trader, Ashok Kundra.
