Despite slump, auto parts industry in city registers 5 per cent growth

The slump in automobile sales has failed to deter the spirits of the local auto part manufacturers with a majority of them hoping to register at least five per cent growth in the current financial year.
I-T dept eager to catch them young

31-year-old man crushed to death

A 31-year-old industrial worker was crushed to death by a truck at Focal Point here today.
The incident took place here this morning when victim Ashok Kumar, a resident of Durga Colony, was walking towards his factory unit.

Ignored by forest officials, blue bull nursed by villagers

A blue bull badly injured by the stray dogs at village Katani Kalan was rescued and nursed the villagers of Katani Kalan. The blue bull was later handed over to the authorities of the Deer Park at Neelon.

Municipal councillor booked for assault
