Cops transferred: The government has shifted an ASP and two DSPs. Sulochna Kumari, ASP (under training), Hisar, has been transferred as such to Rohtak. Jagdish Kumar, DSP (City), Fatehabad, has been transferred to Ist IRB, Bhondsi, while Nirapjit Singh, DSP/AEC, Kaithal, has been posted as DSP (City), Fatehabad.

One killed: Pankaj of Layalpur Colony here was killed when his motorcycle was hit by a truck near the old bus stand on Saturday night.

PDP a creation of BJP, says NC:Ruling National Conference yesterday alleged that the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was the creation of BJP aimed to weaken the autonomy. NC spokesman Tanvir Sadiq said the restoration of autonomy remained the “mission of the party” which the PDP and BJP tried to weaken.
