Traffic snarls irk residents

Ludhiana, December 15
Residents were put to inconvenience as the police imposed traffic restrictions at some of the major routes due to the VIP visits for the third Kabaddi World Cup finals at Guru Nanak Stadium here today. Those coming from College Road and the PAU Gate No 4 area were in for a surprise when traffic regulations were imposed in the wake of Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal’s visit at Punjab Agriculture University (PAU).

The third World Kabaddi Cup will prove costly for Government College for Girls as the district administration demolished the wall of the college without any intimation to the college authorities. It is learnt that the wall was demolished to provide parking space for the general public on the college premises.

Red Ribbon Express to reach city tomorrow
