Freedom fighter dead: Goverdhan of the Azad Hind Fauj died in his native Tharvi village in Fatehabad on Monday. His last rites were performed with full state honour in his village. Born on February 7, 1921, Govardhan joined the Azad Hind Fauj at the young age of 20. He used to throw patriotic message from an aircraft in various parts of the country. Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda expressed grief over Govardhan's death.
