Kejriwal, activists detained
New Delhi, October 12
India Against Corruption activist Arvind Kejriwal being detained by the police during a protest against Union Law Minister Salman Khurshid at Janpath, near India Gate in New Delhi on Friday. The police today detained Arvind Kejriwal and some activists after they were stopped from marching towards the Prime Minister’s residence demanding resignation and arrest of Union Minister Salman Khurshid over allegations of irregularities by an NGO run by him.

Kingfisher extends lockout till Oct 20
New Delhi, October 12
Ailing Kingfisher Airlines has extended its lockout till the next weekend, apparently after failing to convince its striking staffers, protesting delay in salaries, to return to work. Airline sources said the management, in an internal mail, has said that due to operational reasons, all flights across its network would be cancelled till October 20.
