Girl killed: In a hit-and-run case, a twelve-year-old girl was killed on the spot while another sustained serious injuries when they were hit by an Indigo car while they were returning back from their school near Phoosgarh. The deceased has been identified as
Chinna.10 kids hurt: Ten kids sustained minor injuries when their school bus veered off the road and entered fields near Satund village in Gharonda on Monday. Parents alleged that the driver, who was under the influence of liquor, was driving the vehicle rashly. Two die: Two persons died in road accidents in the district on Monday. Sonu (17) of Gurgaon died after being hit by a tractor on the NH-8 at Malpura village, near Dharuhera. In another mishap, Naresh Kumar (29) of Surakhpur village, near Kosli, died on the spot when his motorcycle was hit by a vehicle at Kheda Alampur village.

Hawan performed in temple after 23 yrs:
As peace returns to Kashmir, devotees today performed a hawan at Arya Samaj Mandir in
Rainawari, Srinagar, after 23 years. Locals had made all arrangements for the
hawan. They also assured Samaj members that they would extend their help to them in future too.
