There seems to be no limit to price tags on status. The craze for vanity numbers set a new record today when CH-01-AP-0001 was auctioned for a whopping Rs 26.05
lakh. Amarjit Singh, an agriculturist from Punjab, made the highest bid for the number.

In yet another reshuffling in the UT Administration, the administration today bifurcate the post of joint secretary (home) and distributed the departments between secretary, information technology Prerna Puri, and director public relations MM Sabhrwal.
Six cops transferred

CAT directs UPSC to interview PGI urologist

Shopkeepers told not to sell correction fluids to minors

The UT police launched a special campaign to check sale of correction fluid to minors in the city. The sale of correction fluid to the minors is banned as per the Magistrate orders under Section 144 of the CrPC. The minors generally consume white correction fluid as a drug.
