Two booked by police in assault case
Bathinda, July 30
Police have booked two persons for beating up a resident of Azad Nagar. In a complaint lodged with the police, Mohan Lal alleged that Babu Ram and Ashok Kumar had inflicted injuries upon him following a dispute over money. A case under sections 323, 324 and 34 of the IPC has been registered against the accused at the Kotwali police station. Three arrested for snatching mobile phone Police have booked three persons for snatching a mobile phone from Sanjay Kumar of Baba Farid Nagar. In his complaint to the police, Sanjay Kumar alleged that three persons stopped him near Bibiwala chowk and snatched his mobile phone. The complainant said the incident took place when he along with his brother was on way to Gobindpura village. A case has been registered by the cops under sections 382 and 34 of the IPC at the Thermal police station.
