One heavy shower, civic bodies’ claims down the drain

It seems that lakhs of rupees spent by the municipal corporation in villages and various sectors of the city for cleaning stormwater pipelines before the onset of monsoon have gone down the drain as the rainfall of just 20.2 mm today posed a major problem of water logging in various parts of the city.
