Jalandhar, May 5
The management of Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha, Model Town, today organised a kirtan programme which focussed only on environment issues.
All ragi jathas who performed on the occasion sang hymns from gurbani that preached protection of environment.
Atam Parkash Singh, president of the Gurdwara , said the trend of theme-based kirtan programmes had started recently. “We have already held a programme which only focused on female
foeticide,” he added.
