Roads turn into deathtraps

A day after The Tribune highlighted that the sites where the Ludhiana municipal corporation is carrying out development works have turned into deathtraps, the civic body has finally woken up from its slumber. MC Commissioner Malwinder Singh Jaggi today issued directions that if any accident took place at the spot, an FIR would be registered against the contractor as well as the SDO concerned.
9 lakh metric tonnes of wheat arrives in district
