During the investigation of gunpoint robbery of Rs 6 lakh, it has been revealed that the number of white zen car, used in the crime, was found to be fake. The number (CH-04-L-9126) is of an auto-rickshaw’s number, which was running in Chandigarh.
Misappropriation charge against Wembley Co-operative House Building Society

Deputy registrar, cooperative societies, Punjab, Naresh Kumar Goyal, after the complete inspection of the Wembley Co-operative House Building Society records, has pointed out that the society mis-appropriated funds to the tune of Rs 12 crore. The management committee of the Sector 91 based society has already been suspended by the registrar.
