UT Administration sits over appointment of 81 doctors

Despite the fact that Government Medical College and Hospital , Sector 32, (GMCH-32) is facing an acute shortage of resident doctors, both senior and junior, the UT Administration is sitting over the appointment of 81 doctors, some of whom were selected three months ago.

Theft case solved, jewellery worth Rs 7 lakh recovered
Panchkula, January 14
The district police claimed to have solved a case of theft which took place at the house of an Army officer in Chandi Mandir area on December 21, 2011. Jewellery worth Rs 7 lakh has also been recovered from the accused.
