BEATS of the land
Chandigarh is an integral part of Punjab…is what we felt on this scorching Thursday, when we had a chance to meet not one but three Punjabi singers, two of them here to launch their music albums! Well-known Sufi singer Hans Raj Hans; lyricist, singer and soon-to-be-actor Indra Dhillon and Kulwinder Singh Johal, folk singer settled in Derby, UK, all had a few strands in common that we picked up.

Tall order
Good news for all you tall guys — women are enticed by your height! Women prefer taller men because they are physically more powerful than shorter men. In evolutionary terms, height makes men more useful for women, says researcher David Carrier of Utah University, US.

A flashback to Cannes 2010 is like touching a canvas in many colours. Model-turned-actress Puja Gupta, who made her debut in Bollywood with F.A.L.T.U, is flying high as she got a good response after the film.
