Servant drugs employers in a robbery bid
Ludhiana, March 15
A domestic servant reportedly drugged his employer and five other members of the latter’s family in an obvious bid to rob the house on Monday night. However, the robbery attempt was foiled and the servant fled from the house by scaling the rear wall after noticing neighbours entering the premises.
Soi conferred with bravery award
Ludhiana, March 15
City-based road safety campaigner Dr Kamaljit Soi was conferred with Godfrey Philip Bravery Award at a special function organised in Chandigarh today.
Dr Soi was honoured for saving the lives of 11 critically injured road- accident victims near Neelon in Ludhiana district in May 2010.
Road patchwork leaves commuters fuming
