Rs 1.5 cr loans distributed among 46 SHGs: To promote entrepreneurial skills of the self-help groups (SHGs) engaged in dairy farming, loans were disbursed among 46 members of the Bhilangana Ghati Dugdh Utpadan Evam Vishpan Sansthan at a loan mela organised in Ghansali, Tehri, yesterday. An amount of Rs 1,04,77,000 was distributed among 46
SHGs. The loan mela was organised in association with the Mount Valley Development Association, Uttaranchal Gramin Bank (Ghansali), Himothan Society, a nodal agency of the Sir Ratan Tata Trust, Mumbai, and Dairy Entrepreneurial Development Programme under the National Agriculture Bank for Rural Development (NABARD).HARIDWAR
Tributes paid to veteran lensman’s mother: Tributes were paid to Nasari Begum, veteran photographer Fakira Khan’s mother, who died after a prolonged illness here today. A condolence meeting was held on the court premises in Roshanabad where the lawyer fraternity expressed their sympathy with the bereaved family members.
The media fraternity also conveyed their support to the Khan family in this hour of grief. Bar Association president Sudhir Tyagi, Asmendra Motu, Pradeep Jagta, Rakesh Singh Chauhan, Surnedra Verma, Love Kumar, Tanveer and Sandeep Sharma, among others, expressed their condolences at the meeting.
