Armed robbers target women in city
Kill, rob one at home in Thapar Colony

In a shocking incident, armed robbers killed a 28-year-old woman in Thapar Colony near the Jalandhar bypass area here this afternoon. The brutality of the assailants could be gauged from the fact that they even pulled off the gold earrings worn by the victim.

Deprive another of car after dumping her on road
Ludhiana, February 2
In yet another armed carjacking in the city, two assailants snatched a Hyundai Verna car at gunpoint on College Road after taking the woman whom it belonged to hostage. She was later thrown out of the moving vehicle near Hambra Road.
