2 waiters murdered in cold blood

Local shuttler emerges champion in senior section

Local shuttler Pranav Chopra has achieved another milestone. He, along with Sai Praneeth from Andhra Pradesh, caused a flutter when the duo scored an upset victory over top seeded pair of Arun Vishnu from Kerala and Tarun Kona from Andhra Pradesh to emerge champions in the men’s doubles category in the NPL-All India Senior Ranking Badminton Tournament held at Bangalore from December 9 to 13 organised by Prakash Padukone, a former international badminton star.
