The Northern Railway Pensioners Welfare Association has hailed the decision of the Railways board to allow attendants of the first class pass-holder railway pensioners to travel in upper class by paying one third of the fare for higher class after deduction of the sleeper class fare. This concession will be available to those pensioners, who had attained the age of 70 years.
