Jiya’s Abduction
Ransom call made from Mohali

The abductors of Jiya, a two-year-old girl, who was released a day after being kidnapped, are believed to be located somewhere near Mohali. Investigations by the police have revealed that the ransom call to the girl’s family was made from a marriage party in Mohali.

High drama prevailed at the Phase 3B 2 market here this evening when two sons of senior police officers created a ruckus, reportedly under the influence of liquor.
