Weather to remain dry in region New Delhi, October 3 Temperature: The maximum temperatures changed little. They were markedly above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, appreciably above normal in Himachal Pradesh, west Rajasthan and Uttarakhand, above normal in Haryana and east Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 40.4C recorded at Phalodi (Rajasthan). The minimum temperatures changed little. They were markedly above normal in Haryana and west Rajasthan, appreciably above normal in Himahal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, east Rajasthan, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand and above normal in east Uttar Pradesh. The lowest temperature in the plains was 22.0C recorded at Bhilwara (Rajasthan). Forecast valid until the morning of October 5: Rain/thundershowers are likely at isolated places in east Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region. Outlook for the subsequent two days: No large change.
