Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at many places in Uttar Pradesh, at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, east Rajasthan and Uttarakhand and at isolated places in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Bawal, Hodal,Gharaunda and Taoru 1 each, Himachal Pradesh: Bhoranj 7, Kahu 4, Bharwain and Kakrahi 3 each and Padampur, Sundernagar, Bangana and Shimla 1 each, Jammu and Kashmir: Katra 4 and Kakernag 2, Punjab: Phillaur 1, East Rajasthan: Kishangarhwas and Arai 9 each, Pushkar 7, Ajmer 5, Nasirabad, Beawar, Sawar and Nimbahera 4 each, Kahumer, Ghatol, Jagpura, Shergarh, Chittoregarh, Gangrar and Nokha 3 each, Phagi, Malakhera, Bahadurpur, Kaman, Devli, Dug and Suratgarh 2 each and Naraina, Phulera, Lalsot, Bayana and Aligarh 1 each, West Rajasthan: Jaitaran 4, Sojat 3, Bilara and Pali 2 each and Parvatsar 1.
