Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at few places in west Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in the rest of the region except in Uttarakhand where it was mainly dry. The chief amount of rainfall in cm is: Haryana: Ambala (AP) 1, Punjab: Ludhiana 1, East Rajasthan: Ramgarh, Hindon and Nainwa 3 each, Khanpur, Mandryal, Nadbai, Nagar, Rawatbhata and Sarmathura 2 each and Bair, Bayana, Deeg, Karauli, Kunbher, Paahari, Tapukhera and Udaipurwati 1 each, West Rajasthan: Sardarsahar 3 and Churu 1, East Uttar Pradesh: Lucknow and Neemsar 2 each and Fursatganj and Hardoi 1 each and West Uttar Pradesh: Bareilly F.M. 6, Bareilly and Dabri 2 each and Ankinghat 1.
Temperature: The maximum temperatures rose in Uttarakhand and changed little elsewhere. They were markedly below normal in Punjab and west Uttar Pradesh, appreciably below normal in Haryana, and east Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The highest maximum temperature in the region was 41.8°C recorded at Sriganganagar and Suratgarh (Rajasthan).
