Bus operators flouting rules: Janata Party

The Chandigarh unit of the Janata Party, in a memorandum to the UT adviser and finance secretary, has pointed out that illegal plying of private buses has been causing huge financial loss to the UT’s exchequer apart from violating the Central Motor Vehicle Rules. The activity has also been a source of nuisance for residents of Sectors 22 A and B, it has added.
