Timely intervention of the police prevented the situation from turning ugly. DSP Paramjit Singh Pannu reached the spot and took both the parties to the police station.

Kidney patient needs financial help

Jasbir Singh (19), like all other young boys of his age, had dreams of a productive and purposeful life till two years ago when he fell victim to life-threatening condition of kidney failure. The disease not only shattered his dreams but drained the scant financial resources of the family, which went toward life-sustaining twice-a-week dialysis since then.
