Residents of Sector 29 had to go without water owing to a major leakage in a water pipe on road separating Sectors 29 and 30.
The leakage led to inundation of the road even as residents stayed without water
throughout the day.

Dr Josan takes over as DAV

Dr Balbir Chand Josan, principal DAV College, Abohar, has taken over as principal of DAV College, Sector 10, Chandigarh.
The DAV managing committee, New Delhi, chose Dr Josan following the retirement
of S. Marriya. Dr Josan served the DAV,College Abohar, as principal for around
six years.
Seminar on busting stress

The management of Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School organised seminars for its staff on the school premises in Sector 26, here today. The first phase of seminar was on stress management for teaching faculty taken up by IPAT headed by Rajnish Garg. The focus was on generating the conducive environment for teaching.
