The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Himachal Pradesh: Bhoranj, Solangnala and Solan 3 each, Nahan 2 and Dhundi and Dharamsala 1 each, Jammu and Kashmir: Jammu 2, Punjab: Madhopur and Shahpurkandi 1 each, Uttarakhand: Kalagarh 13, Srinagar 10, Devprayag 4, Banbasa, Mukteshwar and Rishkesh 3 each and Joshimath, Rudraprayag and Tehri 1 each.
Forecast valid until the morning of August 31: Rain/thundershowers are likely at many places over south Rajasthan and Uttarakhand, at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh and northeast Rajasthan and at isolated places in the rest of the region.
Heavy rainfall warning: Heavy rain is likely at isolated places in south Rajasthan and Uttarakhand during the next 48 hours.
Outlook for the subsequent two days: Rainfall is likely to increase over Haryana and Punjab and likely to decrease over south Rajasthan.
No large change in the rest of the region.
