Report on case of harassment submitted

A day of unbridled fun for 150 poor kids, courtesy Rotary

Osmania trophy: PU loses out to Guru Nanak varsity
Chandigarh, November 18
The initial euphoria over Panjab University winning the prestigious Osmania University Platinum Jubilee Trophy 2004-05 seems to be over. Though the PU had earlier announced that it had won the trophy, sources told Chandigarh Tribune today that Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, was actually emerging as a frontrunner for the same.

After years of facilitating the allotment of dwelling units to slum- dwellers, the Chandigarh Administration has finally decided to extend the same "privilege" to the allottees of general houses.

35 milk samples found adulterated
Mohali, November 18
A total of 35 milk samples taken for testing by officials of the Dairy Development Department were found to be adulterated and contained water. Only six milk samples out of a total of 41 were found to be in accordance with the specifications laid down in this regard. The milk samples were tested at an awareness camp.
