Rainfall: Weather was mainly dry over the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperatures changed little.

Departure: This was appreciably above normal in east Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh, above normal in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 38.8°C recorded at Jhansi.

Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperatures changed little. Departure: They were above normal in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, West Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 16.9°C recorded at Udaipur city (Rajasthan).

Forecast valid until the morning of October 13: Weather will be mainly dry over the region.
