Beware of cops in mufti, for the Chandigarh traffic police has deployed plainclothesmen to keep an eye on motorists jumping red lights and violating other rules during early morning hours.

Parliamentary panel for speedy disposal of cases
Compensation for acquisition of land for Defence Ministry

Taking note that a large number of cases regarding payment of compensation where land has been acquired by the Defence Ministry are pending in various courts, a parliamentary panel has urged the government to try settling the cases out of court through negotiations and reconciliations.
