Minister stops tehsildar’s transfer

Revenue Minister Jasjit Singh Randhawa today stopped the shifting of a Tehsildar in the Sub-Registrar’s office following a controversy over the shifting of the office issue.

All set for paddy purchase from Oct 1
Ludhiana, August 28
The Punjab Government has made all arrangements for the procurement of paddy notwithstanding the fact that the official purchase of paddy would start by October 1. Paddy would start arriving in the mandis from middle of next month.
