Heat wave conditions are prevailing in Rajasthan and in some parts of Haryana.
Rainfall:
Rain/thundershowers have occurred at many places in Jammu and Kashmir. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cms are: Jammu and Kashmir: Kupwara 2 and Srinagar 1.
Temperatures: Past 24 hours change:
The maximum temperatures fell in Jammu and Kashmir and changed little elsewhere.
Departure: They were markedly above normal in Haryana and Rajasthan and appreciably above normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 42.9°C recorded at Jhansi (Uttar Pradesh).

Rain/thundershowers are likely at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and at isolate places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, north Rajasthan and Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Partly cloudy sky with the possibility of thundry development/light rain in some areas. The maximum temperature will be around 40°C.
