Rainfall: Weather was mainly dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperatures rose in Jammu and Kashmir and west Rajasthan, fell appreciably in east Uttar Pradesh and changed little elsewhere. Departure: They were appreciably above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, above normal in Himachal Pradesh, below normal in Haryana and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 36.6°C recorded at Barmer (Rajasthan).

Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperatures rose in Rajasthan, fell in east Uttar Pradesh and changed little elsewhere. Departure: They were appreciably above normal in west Rajasthan, below normal in east Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 11.6°C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of March 25: Rain/snow is likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Uttaranchal. Rain/thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Punjab and west Rajasthan. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of March 25: Partly cloudy sky. The maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 32°C and 16°C respectively.
