25 selected for training as tourism executives
Chandigarh, March 2
In an important step towards promoting village tourism in the city, 25 unemployed educated youths have been selected for training as tourism executives. The training classes will be conducted by the Institute of Tourism and Future Management Trends in collaboration with the Department of Tourism of the UT Administration.

Survey begins on slum-dwellers

To collect data of over 23,000 families living in city slum, the office of the Deputy Commissioner today started a geo-matrix survey in Colony No. 4 here today.

Over 7,000 apply to CHB
Chandigarh, March 2
More than 7,000 applications have been received by the Chandigarh Housing Board (CHB) for 960 dwelling units in Sectors 38 (West) and 49. The schemes have flats in two separate categories of one and two bedroom flats.

Annual function of MCM DAV College

MCM DAV College celebrated its 38th annual prize distribution function here today. Ms Raji P. Shrivastava, DPI (Colleges), Chandigarh, was the chief guest of the function.
