Rainfall: Weather was mainly dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperatures fell markedly in west Rajasthan, fell appreciably in east Rajasthan, fell in Uttar Pradesh and changed little elsewhere.

Departure: This was appreciably above normal in east Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh, above normal in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 9.2°C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning March 2: Rain/snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of March 2: Mainly clear sky. Mist in the morning. The minimum temperature will be around 13°C.
