Rainfall: Rain/snow has occurred at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. Rain/thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Punjab. Weather was dry in the rest of the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperatures changed little. Departure: They were markedly above normal in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and appreciably above normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 10.9°C in Amritsar.

Forecast valid until the morning of February 25: Rain/snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of February 25: Mainly clear sky likely to become partly cloudy during afternoon/evening. Mist/shallow fog in the morning. The minimum temperature will be around 15°C.
