Rainfall: Rain/snow has occurred at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir. Weather was dry in the rest of the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperatures rose appreciably in Punjab, rose in Haryana and Uttaranchal and changed little elsewhere. Departure: They were largely above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, markedly above normal in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, west Rajasthan, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, and appreciably above normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 9.8C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of February 16: Rain/snow is likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Uttaranchal. Rain/thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Haryana and Punjab. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of February 16: Partly cloudy sky with possibility of thundry development in some areas. Mist/shallow fog in the morning. The minimum temperature will be around 14°C.
