Phagwara
Suwidha camp: The eleventh Lok Suwidha camp was inaugurated here on Thursday by the local MLA, Mr Joginder Singh Mann. During the camp, 541 learning licenses were issued, 457 affidavits attested and 168 new ration cards made.

NRIs honoured: Six NRIs from here were honoured on Thursday for their contributions to their native places. Mr Joginder Singh Grewal, Mr Surinder Singh Raji, Mr Gurcharan Singh Johal, Sucha Singh Ranipur, Paramjit Singh, and Jarnail Singh Ranipur were honoured.
