Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperatures fell in Haryana and west Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere. Departure: This was below normal in Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab, appreciably above normal in east Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 5.8°C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of 20th November 2005: Rain/snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
