Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at a few places in east Uttar Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. Gorakhpur (East Uttar Pradesh) has recorded 5 cm of rainfall.

Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperatures fell in Haryana and Uttaranchal and changed little elsewhere.

Departure: These were appreciably below normal in Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab, below normal in east Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 11.5°C recorded at Amritsar.
