Rainfall: Weather was mainly dry over the region. Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperatures changed little. Departure: It was appreciably above normal in west Uttar Pradesh, above normal in Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 38.7°C recorded at Barmer (Rajasthan).

Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperatures changed little. Departure: They were appreciably above normal in west Rajasthan, above normal in Himachal Pradesh, east Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 16.5°C recorded at Ambala (Haryana).
